Biz Goal: Associate individual email interactions (sends, opens, clicks, conversions) with the SF Campaign record that generated the “List” of recipients for the Hubspot Email so stakeholders can understand granular attribution for more effective A/B testing
(Context: wider company stakeholders live in Salesforce, not Hubspot, also Salesforce report & dashboard building is a lot more flexible and Salesforce is company SoT)
Technical Goal: linking HubSpot’s activities inserted back into our Salesforce CRM with the correct Salesforce campaign that the event was associated with.
I am thinking of traversing objects through the Hubspot API and updating the corresponding events in Salesforce via a scheduled pull.
Does anyone have any recommendations for how (or easier ways to not) to do this?
