Can I get developer tools/functionality in my main app?
I set up a developer app to play around in, but my assumption is that I should code against our main application in HubSpot. The trouble is that the tools in my developer app are not available in our main app. For instance, I would like to create some event types with custom attributes in our main application, but this doesn’t seem possible, while it’s very easy in the developer app.
Am I missing something on how these things should be used?
The developer portal is where app-specific settings and objects live. When your app is complete, you’ll be able to install the app to your main marketing/sales portal. Marketing/sales portals don’t have access to developer tools, and developer portals don’t have access to marketing/sales tools. The following document has some more details on installing apps:
