Can I update contacts via API using custom field not email?

Hi,

I have created a custom API in sales dashboard and now I want to update the values of entry using my custom field. Is there any way to achieve this?

Hi @pratiksha,

It’s not currently possible to update a contact record in HubSpot using a custom field. You can either update a record using the email property or by using a contact’s vid.
