Changing Domain in portal and impact on Contacts



We recently had a customer where our integration started recognizing all of their contacts having changed. Our sync runs about every 5 to 10 minutes so often this is triggered by a big email blast. But it turned out that they didn’t have any such activity and the only thing they could think of was they changed the domain that was pointing to their HubSpot portal around the same time we saw all of the records come rushing into the integration.

Wondering if anyone knows if changing such domains can have an impact on changes to contacts in the API?


Just updating my own question that this was confirmed based on date/time the customer updated their domain settings and when we saw their entire contact database get picked up as having changed.
