Creating tickets over API - createdate and closed_date properties



When creating a ticket we would like to set dates when ticket was created and when it was closed, but fields createdate and closed_date seem to be readonly.

Is there a way to work around this?

These fields are read only, and aren't intended to be set in the UI or via the API. They automatically update based on when the record was first created in HubSpot (for Create Date) and when the ticket's status was set to closed (for Close Date).
