Error creating workflow via API in OAuth 2

Hi All,

I’m trying to create a workflow via the API as referred to in ( However, I keep getting the error, 403 - This oauth-token (<token>) does not have proper permissions! (requires all of [workflows-access]) - Forbidden.

Few details:

  • I am requesting automation in my OAuth scope, among others, but it doesn’t seem to be covering writing to the workflow
  • Using new OAuth 2 framework

Any advice?

I have the same issue. It used to work before, started having this problem in the last couple days.

@denis Where you able to resolve this?

I’m still having issues

We’re seeing the same issue on an integration of ours, as of ~1 week ago. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Hi everyone, sorry for the wait on this.

We just pushed a fix for this that should fix the scope issues with workflows, so you should be able to create workflows using OAuth 2.0 tokens again.

Sorry again for the delay, if anyone is still seeing a scope error for workflows please let us know.
