Hubdb API gives a permission error

Hi,

I get the following error message when using the hubdb get tables API:
"This hapikey (xxxxxx) does not have proper permissions! (requires all of [hubdb-read])"

Don't understand why this api key would have a permission issue as I am the super admin.

I want to see what tables this API lets me view, and I want to be able to create some custom tables as well.

I am using a free account. Please help!

Hi @yohaansunnie,

That error generally occurs when the portal you're trying to make requests to doesn't have access to the API in question. For example, you'd see this error if you had a Marketing Basic portal and were trying to make requests to the Workflows API. In this case, it sounds like your portal doesn't have access to the HubDB API; only portals that have access to HubDB in-app (i.e. portals with the Website add-on) have access to the HubDB API.
