Some of my contacts belonging to the same company have different email domain names because they are part of a different subsidiary of the company.
In those cases, I would like to update the associated company of my contacts through the API so that they would all be sorted directly under the mother company.
Nevertheless, I still want to keep HubSpot Insight and the auto matching of contacts and companies activated, because the majority of my contacts doesn’t fall under this special case.
Do you think this could work ? Wouldn’t the auto matching overwrite the values that I change through the API ? What would happen when an associated company’s property gets modified and the system runs a global auto maching update ?
