Hyperlink with Personalization token within email body replaced by img tag?

After saving the email the hyperlinks (Links text) in the body that has personalization tokens end up replaced with some img tag? I am not sure why it’s doing that, this is important because we are dynamically populating the values in the hyperlinks. And when users click them, it end up getting redirecting to a wrong site or drop personalization token which is incorrect.

• Here is the simple hyerlink/url example that we trying to personalize in the email body.

https://{{contact.login}}.domainname.com

• This is what its get replaced with after I saved it:

https://.domainname.com
