Hi,

I want to know what is the origin of the creation of a transaction?

Is there a property that indicates the origin of the creation?

I see the property hs_analytics_source_data_1 but if I create a new deal from the HubSpot interface, this property is set to API. The same value is set if I create a new deal from my website.

Hi @laupifrpar,

The Original Source deal properties reflect the original source for the associated contact, or associated company if there is no contact. They don’t track the process by which a deal was created. You can get some insight by looking at the source of deal property changes, but that’s primarily for internal use. If you need granular info on how deals were created, it’s generally best to create and set a custom deal property.
