We want to be able to edit templates outside of the Marketing Design Tool so we can add content boxes/layouts on the fly rather then creating new deigns in the tool each time. Is this possible? A Similar functionality is available in Mailchimp which streamlines our time to ensure we are spending more time on content rather then layout editing.
Are you referring to working on templates locally? I'm not totally sure what you mean by 'outside of the marketing design tool.' You can design templates locally and then upload them to the design manager using FTP if you wish:
