Overriding ticket creation data



Hi there,
I'm in the process of migrating zendesk tickets to service hub. One thing that I have noticed is that when creating a ticket you can not specify ticket creation date and have to use one that gets assigned by hubspot automatically.

Is there any way to override that? Or the best course action would be creating a custom ticket property to store the legacy created date?

As you found, properties like createdate are calculated by HubSpot and cannot be set or overridden. The best course of action is indeed to create a custom ticket property to store the historical Zendesk create date.
