Parsing webhook JSON

#1

Hey,

Our developer said he’s trying to parse JSON from a webhook POST, but it fails. Mainly because there are two URLs in the data that fail to parse because they have backslashes instead of forward slashes.

Here are the two URLs:
http:\a0.twimg.com\profile_images\3108713920\a05c8428e56d62a146db7c791a1edecb_normal.jpeg
http:\a0.twimg.com\profile_images\3108713920\a05c8428e56d62a146db7c791a1edecb_normal.jpeg

Is there any way to fix that?

Hi @Chadr

Can you send me a link to the contact record that you saw that with?

Sure - I believe this is it: https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/152131/contact-beta/65181/

Looking at that contact, those aren’t actually backslashes, they’re a different character

Since those characters aren’t backslashes, the JSON is valid, but it’s possible that the parser isn’t handling the unicode characters correctly.
