"&reg" name code being stripped out of rich text field source code

I'm using the "replace" HubL code with in the source code of a rich text field. Here's the full line of code:

<div class="widget-span widget-type-cell" data-widget-type="cell" data-x="0" data-w="4"><a target="_blank" href="http://inbound.mcpolymers.com/hubfs/Technical_Data_Sheets/{{ page_meta.html_title|replace(' ', '')|replace('®', '') }}.pdf">

I need the registered symbol ® to be "&reg" but when I save the code, it replaces it with the actual symbol. This is being used in a URL - so the registered symbol is messing up the URL. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Hi @swolterman,

Can you give me an example page where you're seeing this happen so that I can dig in further?

Hi Derek,

We found a way around the issue. Thank you for the response though!
