Suggesting a feature: Webhook API for the chatbot


We currently have a chatbot that uses the Intercom Webhook API. That way we can control the whole message flow with the user.

It would be great if HubSpot could implement a similar API, so we could have one place to manage our users.

One extra thing, the Intercom API doesn't implement anything for when the user is typing. That would be nice if you guys can add that extra bit too.

That's a good idea; I'd be happy to pass it along internally. If you have the inclination, I would definitely encourage you to check out the Ideas Forum on the HubSpot Community as well. There, you can create a post including your use case that product and other customers can see.
