When using hapikey as the authentication method. I am receiving error:
This hapikey (XXXXXX) does not have proper permissions! (requires all of [contacts-write])",

Are you using your developer hapikey? If you're making requests to a test or production Marketing/CRM portal, you need to get the hapikey related to that portal:

knowledge.hubspot.com
