Timeline API - Timestamp Issue

Hey guys,

When I create a Timeline event, the event date and time are shown correctly with “GMT+2”, e.g.:

Following http://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/timeline/timeline-overview (Setting the Event timestamp), when I send a UTC timestamp, the event date and time are shown in UTC with “GMT+2”.

What can be the reason for this issue?

Hi @yanivf

The HubSpot app will automatically convert any time values to be displayed based on the timezone settings of the user or portal, so that the time can be displayed in the user’s local time.

If you have a case where you’re seeing that conversion happening incorrectly, can you send me a link to a contact record you’re seeing that with, along with the details of the timeline event?
