Just a simple question: We had issues executing the “Identify a visitor” api call and I am wondering if there is a limitation based on type of plan we are using for API calls? We are using CRM Pro and Marketing Starter.
There shouldn’t be anything specific to identifying a visitor that would be different for a Marketing Starter account. Can you tell me any more details about how you’re making the identify call?
You would need to make that call before loading the tracking code, or before manually tracking a page view, since the identify call only stores the identity in the tracker; it won’t be sent to HubSpot until a page view gets tracked. You wouldn’t be able to use an event in this case since events are only processed for Enterprise marketing subscriptions.
