What/Who is AppId 113?

#1

I see it everywhere, cannot find a single explanation of what it is.

Hi @KenEhrman,

Are you seeing this appId in the email events API? Those appIds correspond to internal email processes, and are different from the appId used by integrations.

I get this from
https://api.hubapi.com/email/public/v1/campaigns/by-id?hapikey=REDACTED&limit=10

{
"hasMore": true,
"offset": "NTQzODg1NjY=",
"campaigns": [
    {
        "id": <redacted>,
        "appId": 113,
        "appName": "Batch"
    },
    {
        "id": <redacted>,
        "appId": 113,
        "appName": "Batch"
    },
    {
        "id": <redacted>,
        "appId": 113,
        "appName": "Batch"
    },
...
}

i have decided to ignore the appId because when i use the “id” fields, and call
https://api.hubapi.com/email/public/v1/campaigns/REDACTED?appId=113&hapikey=REDACTED

I get what I am looking for.

I was just hoping for an explanation of what the significance of 113 is.

So far, it remains a mystery, but it doesn’t seem important. I dunno.

Is there an answer?

Hi @KenEhrman,

The appId field corresponds to the internal email process responsible for sending the email campaign. In this case, these are batch emails, and therefore show the appId from that process. This field isn’t relevant for getting email campaign information, only for internal processes.
