Where to see collected data

Hi Everyone,

I’m just starting with HubSpot. I’ve created a developer account and made some api calls through my website - all of them related to the Contacts API. All calls are working fine - I have already 11 contacts, and several update contacts call…
However, I’ve seen on the site that there are some dashboards about API usage, some sort of analytics… I’m not sure what it is, because no data is shown over there. I was thinking hubspot would monitor the calls made using my hapikey and collect the data to show on dashboards - it seems I was wrong, and missing something.

So, how can I see the data on any of the dashboard available here? What should I do?

Thanks in advance!

@Leonardo_Machado You can check your daily API usage at this endpoint here:

Thanks, @pmanca

However, I was thinking of something more graphical, instead of just API calls/JSon as results. I would like some data shown in a dashboard like this one: https://app.hubspot.com/reports-dashboard/2948632/sales, or to see something on the app monitoring on the developer account session (https://app.hubspot.com/developers-beta/3282821/application/44064/monitoring/api).

Also, this api call (Check daily API usage) returns this JSon

    "status": "error",
    "message": "This hapikey (< key >) does not have proper permissions! (requires all of [hapikeys-access])",
    "correlationId": "d0695146-fec9-4938-b2b9-999f0e0defb9",
    "requestId": "0bafa880895192cd26b14df527427fb2"

@Leonardo_Machado At the moment the API endpoint is the only way to retrieve the information and there isn’t a graphical option to add it to a reporting dashboard.

And, about the error I received when I called Check daily API usage? How can I fix it?

What error did you receive?

    "status": "error",
    "message": "This hapikey (< key >) does not have proper permissions! (requires all of [hapikeys-access])",
    "correlationId": "d0695146-fec9-4938-b2b9-999f0e0defb9",
    "requestId": "0bafa880895192cd26b14df527427fb2"

This one :confused:

Do you need any extra information to help me fix this error?
The call I’ve made was through “Postman”, a GET request to:

On Header:

The error code was “403”. The response is on the post above…

@Leonardo_Machado Are you using a Hapikey for a dev portal or for a normal marketing portal?

I’m using from the dev portal. Is it correct? If it isn’t, where can I find the other hapikey?

@Leonardo_Machado The rate limit endpoint was geared towards the marketing portals that would have all of the apps installed into it. Try your other hapikey for your portal.
